If you didn’t know, Armani’s sub brand “Armani Exchange” first started in 1991. Based on the style, cut and hardware of this vest I am assuming it’s one of the early pieces for the sub brand to release during that period. It marks a time where Armani wasn’t tarnished so much by profits and cash grab mall clothing like it is now. But with that being said, the clouded vision of the brand these days shouldn’t deter you from appreciating the old pieces through the years as they are the blueprint for a lot of silhouettes and styles you see today.
