This jacket from Sugar Cane is based on the classic Type III denim jacket silhouette introduced in the late 1960s. The design keeps the defining details of the style including the vertical panel seams, two chest pockets, and a shorter fitted cut, while replacing traditional denim with a nylon shell and quilted insulation for warmth.

Sugar Cane is produced by Toyo Enterprise, a company known for studying and recreating vintage American garments. Since the 1970s the brand has focused on historically inspired workwear, often referencing clothing worn by workers and military personnel throughout the mid twentieth century.
