YOSHIYUKI KONISHI Laced Wool Knit Sweater (1990’s)

A standout piece by Don Konishi from his short lived self titled brand in the 90’s. Some of his best work came from this time period, moving on from FICCE and the labels bright colored knit sweaters (which made him popular in his early days). To then progressing to darker more monotone colors in the 90’s. Pieces from this time period are incredibly hard to find; you will most likely never see this piece again.

The sweater features an intricate laced wool detailing with a slightly cropped body and elongated sleeves. A lot more breathable than you would think for being wool and a perfect piece to wear alone or for layering.
