90's Cowichan Knit (L)

BADBOY

90's Cowichan Knit (L)

$220.00 USD

Bad Boy started in 1982 in San Diego, coming out of the early surf and skate scenes with bold graphics and a rebellious attitude. Through the late 80s and 90s the brand built a following with riders and surfers who wanted something a little louder than the typical surf brands of the time.

This piece is a heavyweight 90s Cowichan knit sweater with the large Bad Boy eyes graphic across the chest. Cowichan sweaters come from a traditional wool knitting style developed by the Native Coast Salish people on Vancouver island, known for their thick wool and bold patterns. They became a staple in cold coastal surf towns where surfers would throw them on to warm up after early morning sessions.
