AW2004 Cut & Sewn Wool Plaid Jacket (L)

Rebirth was part of the early 2000s Harajuku streetwear scene, created by Atsushi Horiki and connected to the LUMP collective alongside brands like WHIZ. The label mixed streetwear with more experimental construction and distressed textures, giving familiar pieces a slightly raw, reconstructed feel. 

This jacket comes from the Autumn Winter 2004 season, built from wool plaid with a cut and sewn construction that reflects the brand’s interest in deconstructed tailoring and layered textures.

A strong example from Rebirth’s early years, when Japanese streetwear was pushing traditional garments in new directions.
